PARADISE WITH A PURPOSE!

Choices Mentoring Initiative mentors and mentees landed in sun-soaked Jamaica, but this was not just a getaway. It’s the beginning of a life-changing journey.

Before heading into Kingston for our Historical Humanitarian Mission & Cultural Exchange, our youth took a moment to soak in the rich flavors, music, and culture at our stunning all-inclusive resort, fueling up for the powerful work ahead.

We serve.

We connect.

We give back.

All in honor of the late, great Dr. Deborah Salmon—a woman whose legacy of compassion, justice, and global healing lives on through every step we take.

Follow our journey. Be inspired. Share the light.

Spreading Love, One Act of Kindness at a Time

On May 26, 2025, mentors and mentees from Choices Mentoring Initiative, accompanied by Dr. Foster, MD, Jamaica, embarked on a powerful journey from Runaway Bay to Kingston, Jamaica — not for leisure, but for legacy.

In loving honor of Dr. Deborah Salmon, we proudly donated medical equipment, technology, toys, and vital essentials to the incredible individuals and staff at the Jamaica National Children’s Home.

We showed up with full hearts, ready to serve, and left forever changed by the strength, joy, and spirit of the people we met.

This is what mentorship looks like. This is what legacy feels like.

After an inspiring tour of the Bob Marley Museum, our mentors, mentees, and Dr. Foster enjoyed the island’s best patties and ice cream at Devon House — a true taste of Jamaica!

From beach volleyball to resort relaxation, and delicious mangoes from Dr. Foster’s backyard, this journey is about more than fun, it is a powerful cultural exchange and humanitarian mission honoring the legacy of Dr. Deborah Salmon.
